Re: 4 different kind of morphs
I think they are refering to the animals Vin calls Leopards. So if Iam reading right they are saying that they are a cross of the Leopard and the Pastel or Leopard and spider.

None of it answers the question: what makes them a leopard?
I did the same thing, and don't really get it either...

Those are some beauties. That leopard spider is one fine lady!

Nope, not exactly. They are a cross of a Spider to a Leopard Pastel.
Here´s a pic of the mother when she was young.

And here is a comparison pic (the third pic) of my Leopard Spider (the right one) and a ´normal´ Spider just out of the egg.

This is the text on the website referring to the Leopard Pastel:
First produced by Vin Russo in 2004, combination of a dominant(leopard) and co-dominant (pastel)gene, i was lucky to obtain an absolutely gorgeous female in the year they were first produced of only a few that were produced.
This combo makes a busy patterned extremely clean vibrant yellowpastel which doesn’t brown out like many pastels but holds it color as it matures.
The biggest potential lies in breeding these into other mutations as it cleans them up and really enhances the color. In 2006 i produced the first ever leopardbee (leopardpastelspider) from this line and it is turning into a knockout animal.
All pics are courtesy of Freek Nuyt from FNReptiles.

I think you misread my post according to your own site a Leopard pastel is the "combination of a dominant(leopard) and co-dominant (pastel)gene,"
So a Spider X Leopard Pastel would be a Leopard Bee not a Leopard pastel or Leopard Spider. That may be what was bred to get them but not the genes present in the animals we are talking about. right?
Re: 4 different kind of morphs
Guess I am just not getting it. The "leopard pastel" that you provided the link to appears to be a normal, not very bright, pastel to me. Am I looking at the wrong picture? Both of the spiders look like normal spiders too.... \
Very nice snakes you have by the way.

My animals come from a Spider x Leopard Pastel breeding. In the clutch were a normal, a Spider, a Leopard Pastel, a Leopard Spider and (if i´m not mistaken) 2 Leopardbees.
Re: 4 different kind of morphs
The question that still doesn't seem to be being answered is what makes them leopards? What is/are the identifying traits of a leopard?
For example, albinos are pretty obvious, ivories are more subtle. But people who know what to look for can still look for those particular traits and identify from a mixed clutch which animals are YBs and which are normals.
