If that was in response to my post Chuck, I'm hardly anywhere near an expert LOL.

LOL Thanks Tanya. I might have picked up a few tricks here and there, mostly due to the kindness of a lot of folks around here way more experienced than my husband and I are with these fascinating creatures - but expert - no way, nowhere near that stage of my own personal learning curve.

He ate yesterday. Two live Fuzzies. Thanks for the tips guys. He was a little shy, I had to close the tub before he took them, but he took them fast after I left. I have another male that ate yesterday a smaller mouse, and when I was thawing out a littler hopper today for my NERD Female he was SO excited. She didn't take as she is starting to go into shed, but he had his head almost in her tub staring at the rat.

The guy is a eatting machine. I think if I were to offer him something everyday, he would take it .. everytime. Of course, I won't do that ... but it's kinda cool/annoying seeing how each snake eats differently.

I tried this once a long time ago and it worked great but only ever had to do it once.
Had one hatchling that would not eat. Took a rat pink and dipped it in hot water with a chicken bouillon cube. Just long enough to get the scent. Used tongs and took the rat and rubed it all over the snakes face. It only took a minute and he took the rat.
After that he ate regular F/T rats no problem
