    You can use a single t-stat for as many UTHs as you can plug in without getting close to the wattage max, usually 500watts, of the stat... HOWEVER that is for UTHs that will all be at the same temp!

    Placing a rheostat between the UTH and t-stat can work, but be carefull of doing it since if the t-stat goes on the blink BOTH sides will be way too hot and your snake could cook having no where to get away. A second stat for a second temp setting is always best, even if it's just a cheaper ZooMed stat until a better one can be ordered.
