Re: bp not thermoregulating
You may want to consider having a fecal done as well. He is very small, and that may be a result of a parasitic infection. Without a detailed history it's hard to make a definitive conclusion on why he hasn't grown.
Re: bp not thermoregulating
Well, I would LOVE to have a fecal float done, but that's kind of hard when the snake won't poop! :P
-lol-
Also, I had him out today just to generally look him over and make sure he's acting ok. And I noticed that the last 5 inches or so of his tail were particularly squishy. I know a "hard" or "solid" feeling there can mean compaction. But what does a squishy feeling mean? It was like there was no muscle mass there. The rest of his body felt the way it should - lean and muscular.

:8: I love you. But to answer your questions, yes on all counts.:D

If you take him to a vet, they can do a quick swab in his vent area and use that for a fecal. No pooping necessary! :]
I would assume squishy would be less muscle mass, in a way where the muscle has a lot of fat/empty vesicles and less muscle tissue making it similar to a sponge.
Just what I would think it to be.
