I'm going with Champagne on that light hooded girl.
I was thinking champagne or blue beige. its hard to tell what colors they are because one site shows one color and another site shows the same color with a different name lol
and if you lived close enough I'd hook ya up with some :)

yeah we're the same way! the super cute n friendly ones dont get fed off. they are kept as pets n breeders or they go to the pet stores as PETS.

I have never had any blue rats or dumbos before, so you can imagine how excited I was when I finally got some! then was a little disappointed because I thought he was a mink. Now im super excited again.
i'd really love to produce some sky blues! as for markings id like some variegated and some dalmatians. hard to find good quality rats around here tho and from the looks of it so far, mine wont produce anything like that. Im gonna keep mixing and matching, maybe something different will pop up. My mice produce some awesome markings tho :)

Re: Baby Wats!! (THUD)
Head patterns are a no no. They have a high chance of getting megacolon,(link to article) and that is NOT at all something you want to breed rats with!! High white rats should be avoided.
My girl with the head marking has never been bred, and never will be. She is purely a play/pet rat. I also have a few blazed animals I keep around as pet ONLY.
There are markings you need to be aware of because of the genetic diseases associated with them.

What patterns to avoid :
Notched Capped
Baldies/essex (white spots on head, often looks like a bald spot)
Blazes or badger (white from nose and spread up to the ears)
Odd-eyed rats, often with blazes (one red eye, one black eye, sometimes the red eye looks black unless light shined into)
Lightning marks on face or split caps (split cap looks like a capped rat, but their is a line going through the middle of the head)
Black eyed white rats
Banded/husky/roan rats (looks like a high sided berkshire, a long band of color down back of animal)
High white rats (rats with irregular patches of color, can be combined with any before stated markings, )
Colors to avoid:
English blues from pets store: often weak immune systems, prone to many problems and die young. (buy from established breeder)

I understand. The animals I have that are high white were bought before I knew about patterns and their role with megacolon, or bred before I really had a strong understanding of it. I happened to breed one of my blazed girls, and kept a gorgeous russian blue blazed husky boy, and 2 blazed girls.
I really enjoy keeping rats as pets, and most likely will always have a group of just pet ratties around. (I think I'm up to 7 or so now :)) So I can keep high white patterns I particularly like on the pet side. ;)
