    They were really cool corns, expecially for the time.

    Rainwaters so called pied corns were not really pied to begin with. All offspring were born normally but then after some time would have rough sheds where they would lose pigment over areas of their bodies. I saw a write up of this where it was determined that this 'pied' condition was actually some kind of hereditary skin disease similar to Vitiligo in human beings.
