Re: What a Deal!
Jo,
You should be able to unscrew the right vertical frame, and slide out the upper plate. I just used some contact paper to rewrap mine, and slid it back in. I also used the space behind the sign for all of my electrical work. Then when you slide the sign back in, it covers up all of the messy wiring. Let me know if you need a pic, and I'll take mine apart.

Looks great Jo! Are you going to add a fan to it too?

Re: What a Deal!
That is a perfect find at a perfect price. Any glass front coolers that I have seen for sale have a big price tag on them.

Re: What a Deal!
I'd live the live bait sign on there, just incase you decide to start breeding corn snakes!!!:headbang:
Nice pick up, I bet that bad boy holds a pefect temp

Glass doors rule:gj:
There is "stuff" behind that frame. I don't know what it is, it's probably mechanical "stuff". "Stuff" of this nature scares me so I tend to leave it be. I don't do well with unknown mechanical "stuff" that hides behind goofy fish!

Gawd Tim read the above noted comments about "stuff". Maybe you could just hop a plane and do this for me because I'm getting a hysterical nosebleed from the very idea of what's hiding behind that dang fish! :O

Shhhhhh Larry, if Mike hears about anything but ball pythons right now he gets this look that says "Joanna we are focusing on BALL PYTHONS remember!". I'm still trying to quietly slide a nice male Nelson's Milksnake into the collection to breed with our female. Then there's the Black Milksnake pair I want and....ummm....you won't mention this post to my husband Mike, right?

Oh excellent! Thanks Kevin! I'll give them a call. I've been on the look out for a full size glass front cooler forever or even another small one like this so I can manage up to 12 clutches next year (wait....I feel faint...12 clutches!)

Jo, I would imagine it would only be some wiring for a light, but I could be wrong. If you get the cover off, take a pic and post it up, and we'll try to tell you what you can remove, and what to leave. However, in my opinion, you shouldn't need anything that is in there. When I built mine, I striped everything out of the fridge except the doors and the wall or any insulation. I pulled every wire out of it, including the fans that were already in it and the light that was in it.

Re: What a Deal!
Awesome! Yes, glass doors are great for people like me who want to look in all of the time.
