I just started to "try" taking better photographs....so far I have been using whatever they happen to be on as it seems to give a better candid shot....these were taken in their enclosures...not the best but my best so far...LOL

Panthercz.. where do you purchase the black acrylic or did you paint it? and I want all the snakes in your last pic. :D
Kim, I love that driftwood shot. Its a nice natural setting and its really sharp and clear. and its a beautiful snake as well.

All of my other pictures are taken outside during the day in a shady area, they turn out pretty well that way since I know nothing about lighting pictures - I let the sun and a tree do it for me

All the acrylic I have are remnants from my fathers cabinet shop from over 10 years ago. Finding small pieces to purchase can be difficult. Oh and if you paint acrylic you just end up with a painted surface like any other.
I'm with you on the last photo, I'd love to have all those snakes too!

Oh well, would have been nice. I love your pictures on the black acrylic, the reflective quality is nice.
Is the black acrylic you use semi-opaque or totally opaque?
I think everyone else wants those snakes in the last photo too. :D
