    I would say that at this stage a 20gal is too big. The log hides need to come out. The hides that you decide to use should only be about as big as the snake curled up, so that should free up a lot of space in the tank. They don't need a large water dish if they are healthy, so you can switch him over to something small and cheap. I would take a look at the care sheet here again. Jo gave you a link I believe. Read it, learn it, memorize it, LIVE IT. -lol- You actually want the tank to be stuffed full of things. I keep crumpled newspaper in mine when the snakes are new. It adds "tunnels" for them to move around in and gives them a sense of security. The more stuff there is, the more confined they feel, and the more happy they will be.

    Thanks everyone for the great advice- I'll take all the big stuff out and replace with smaller stuff- I'm glad a didn't by the 40 gallon tank that the nice pet store girl recommended:rolleyes:
