    Do you mind elaborating on your post? Certainly you dont mean their sex can change at the drop of a dime. I am aware however as Leos grow their patterns and markings change.

    I use peat moss / vermiculite in my lay boxes and it seems to out really well. Except that the eggs always look dirty as all heck when they're laid.

    No, he doesn't mean that they change sex, just that some males are late-bloomers. Many people found this to be especially true of the Mack snows. I haven't noticed any difference with the Macks myself, but I have had my share of "late-bloomer" surprises! At this point yours does look all girl to me, though!

    I also use bed-a-beast (coconut fiber) in my lay boxes. I use vermiculite 1:1 with water for incubation.
