I started an account there a long time ago, but really only logged on once. Maybe I'll take a look at it again, but with MySpace and Facebook, I don't know if I could keep up with another networking site...

For tattoo artists and enthusiasts looking for another good site to browse, take a look at www.tattoodles.com. It's mainly a forum, but there is a photo section where artists post tattoos they've done for critique by other artists. I've learned A LOT about the tattooing industry and community, as well as learning a lot about tattoos in general since joining that site. I guarantee if you spend a little time looking through the tattoo photo and critique section, you will have a whole new understanding of what makes a good tattoo vs. what qualifies as a BAD tattoo... There's also an artist locater so you can find an artist in your area who you may not have known of otherwise... :gj:

Oh, and there is a gallery of designs, but you have to pay to get to those...

ps - I am in no way associated with the owners of the site, it's just another useful site that I frequent for info on one of my other addictions.

I checked out tattoodles a few times and hated it. IN has all that stuff, but lacks a lot of the amature B.S. and crappy flash you see all over tattoodles, imho. All the top artists in the country have IN accounts, and they use them.

I'll have to check it out again. I signed up a long time ago when it wasn't really active from what I could tell. Anyway, if anyone wants to add me on there, my handle is RageKage. :D

Cool, I've always wanted a tattoo but I don't trust any locals. I want one from the very best. I need to check this place out.
