Before we moved out here I had all my snakes in my bedroom... with a 46" tv, surround sound, and subwoofer. At first I was worried about the same thing, that the noise and vibrations would stress them out and throw their feeding off so I'd always keep the volume really low. After a while I got tired of barely being able to hear my movies/video games so I started turning it up a little bit and when I didn't notice any detrimental effects with the snakes, I turned it up a little louder... and a little louder... and a little louder. ;) Eventually I got to the point where it was plenty loud, and the snakes never seemed to have a problem with it. Maybe it was because I gradually turned it up and they acclimated to it? Although, I had added a few snakes to the collection during that time and none of them ever seemed to have a problem with it either -- maybe I'm just lucky. :D
