Damn Jamie. I took her advice, and tried to hold my snake egg against a candle light to see if it was fertile. Now the egg is slightly hard, and I think I may have cooked it.

Not ALLL of her advice was bad. She will lure you in with something truthful and vague, and the smash it with the details!

    Examples

    "This is a ball python"

Yes .. yes it is a ball python. Continue.

    "It's about six feet long"

    DOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!

"To see if the egg is fertile, you can use the "Candle Light" technique.

    Yes, yes you could. Continue

"Hold the egg over a candle"

    DOOOOOHHHHhhhhh!

    "This is an albino Ball"

AHHHhh, I see that it is ...

"They are the most expensive morph out there"

    .. hmmm, that doesn't sound right ....

The belly of the snake is always white, unless they are a morph....ummm?

And can sense heat up to a mile away with their heat pits?

I don't know how she did that with a straight face.

She's a perfect example of why you shouldn't be getting your husbandry advice from a pet store.
