    Well, I hope it doesn't come off!! However, if it does the snake will be find. I have a rescue who was caught in someone's yard and the tip of her tail was and is gone; there's probably an inch or two gone. She's got scar tissue, but it doesn't bother her...even if it does come off, I'm sure your corn will be just fine once it heals over.

    I have a couple of snakes that did loose the tip of its tail for several reasons (rescue with dry shed on the tip, rescue with a rat chew)

    Over time, it will grow over and just be stubby.

    No worries. Just make sure that it doesn't get infected.

    I would put neosporin on it(if it comes off) and just keep an eye on it. Good luck! :gj:
