    The thing is as far as I understand the law here in Ohio, we can have the stores that sell these huge fireworks but you have to sign a paper that you won't actually set them off inside the boundaries of this state.

    Apparently there were people outside at this complex setting off huge and illegal fireworks. In an older complex with connected rooflines and connected attic space, with FLAT roofs that stuff won't roll off of! Sadly not one person thought to stop them or call the police to put an end to it and this was the result (as far as preliminary reports say anyways). It's a wonderful holiday but for me, we'll enjoy our fireworks safely. The city puts on a nice show. Setting off huge fireworks you can't handle in a crowded apartment complex was just so dumb. Leaving well over 100 to 200 people homeless....what a stupid thing for a bit of fun. :(
