If you have a normal female but a male fire. Breed the fire to the normal and statistically 50% of the clutch will be fires. Hope for a female fire, raise her up and breed her back to dad.

Same thing for the blue eyed Lucy, just insert Mojave for Fire...

My take on this is to get what you want and not try and breed this to get that to then hope that youll someday have the animal that you intended to buy in the first place...If you like Fire's buy a Fire if you like Mojave buy a mojave ...you'll be happier with your collection if you just get into the project your passionate ablut in the first place..

i fully understan you stand point and it is very logical but there are a couple reasons is rather go the breeding route one is that i am a total DIY person i get much more satisfaction and would rather build it myself than buy one premade as long as its in my abilities and i see this as the same thing i would be so much more satisfied by breeding my own lucy than buying one because i know i made it =) and the other reason is that the price tag on a lucy is insane and i just couldnt achieve that now and probably for a long long time if ever but i understand the reason for the price alot of time and effort goes in to it =)

Mojos produce a blue-eyed lucy that is not completely white. It will have some light markings on the head and maybe the body. I don't think it's ugly. But if you want all white...get the fires (or lessers.)

That's why Mojos are cheaper they don't produce a "clean" snake.

i understand =) i like both the blue eyed and the black eyed id like one of both! what would happen if you bred the 2 together? hmmm....

Athen...What IO meant is if you want a fire buy a fire dont buy some mojaves wit hthe intent to breed them to produce a Blue eye lucy ....The cost of feeding them and only if the female does give you fertile eggs could be several seasons before you could get a Fire....

I hear you on the 'ultimate goal' thing. :) My ultimate is a Bumblebee, and they are still way too expensive for me to just get one. Instead, since I have a very nice pastel male, I will save up for a spider female (MUCH more affordable) and try for the 1/4 chance.

Basically, if you can afford to get the snake you really like...you should get that snake. If you love breeding, and are prepared and can do it right, then go that road. Do what you want to do. :)

You'd have a 25% chance of normals, 25% chance of mojaves, 25% chance of fires, and a 25% chance of a fire mojave. (sorry, no white snake)
