My girlfriend has been doing glasswork for 10+ years, I know how challenging it can be!
Good luck!!!!!

Re: Stained glass idea
Pretty Cool Stuff, I like it.
Weird though, this weekend I picked up a ton of stain glass supplies for $50, friend of the family is moving and I believe their father was very into it before he passed on. I've wanted to get back into it but sheets of glass are so expensive. I learned when I was in elementary school and I can't wait to get my copper tape, flux, and solder groove on again.
I was thinking of trying to make a pattern out of a macro head shot of a snake; but thats probably really hard for my first project. Maybe I'll try to re-do my bell pepper from 3rd grade :)

Re: Stained glass idea
What a nice 1800 post Rich. ;) We can start out swapping ideas for stain glass, I'm still deciding if I want to start with this one, or cut my teeth on another idea I had. I haven't done stained glass in 5 years... hopefully it'll come back smoothly.
(has it really been 5 years since highschool? *sigh*)

Re: Stained glass idea
Woohoo 1802 ;)
I'll never forget the big stained glass piece we did as kids in school. It was a huge Nostradamus face with him holding a crystal ball; it was awesome for a bunch of 3rd graders and still hangs over the main doors of my elementary school.
We'll swap patterns in our cheesy glory ;)

Oh hon....just wait until you're 25+ years out of high school..... life feels really different when you start thinking in terms of decades instead of years.... :P
AWEsome idea for stained glass, by the way! And love Laura's addition! I'd pay money for it! :D
