You should be putting new animals into quarantine to prevent from putting your existing ones at risk. I would talk to the petshop, most places will hold it for you if you put a deposit or pay the full amount. That should give you enough time to get the supplies and have the second enclosure setup.

That is pretty much all you need to know... until quarantine is up you should not even have the snakes in the same room...

PS: good to hear you are getting a second tub, you do not want to risk you collection to save money... ultimately dead and sick snakes are costly. (not that it should be the motivating factor).
