    She looks pretty normal and healthy to me. I dont think its stuck shed but rather iridescence from the scales themselves...

    also 2 feedings in the first month of life is about normal. They eat after their first shed so the first meal is not until 1-2 weeks old.

    The snake can handle hopper mice just fine, I have 3 female month olds right now that are feeding on pinkie rats, they are about the same size as hoppers....

    OK I took some new pics today, she was not stressed much even though she is in blue... and ate for me no prob about an hour after I put her back in her tank :)

    So here is the left side of her face, the spot with the arrow is the one I thought might have been a scar, you can see it looks very rough, the others look like unshed scales from what I've seen here.

    Sounds like you are on the right track here. Lots of good advice. I must agree that your prey size is too small. She could take a hopper easy, and probably even a small adult. Also, the sooner you figure out how to keep your humidity up without misting the happier you will both be.

    As far as I can tell, those sections you have circled are just dry scales. Nothing wrong with those. They should return to normal appearance with a good shed.
