Just to expand on what Connie said a little, not only do BRBs not do well at high temps but it can be deadly for them. They are far less forgiving of husbandry errors than Ball Pythons or common Boas. They need high humidity, lower temps (when I had mine there was a temp gradient of 76-86) and smaller prey size. If you get the husbandry right, BRBs are an amazing snake to keep and in my opinion one of the most underrated.

I don't disagree with the fact you need a thermo, especially with rainbows seeing as they're easy to cook since they're low temp snakes. But I disagree a little with the technicalities. I have 2 UTH's that only ever go up to 93 degrees (used for Bci quarantine) in the conditions I use them for , so I don't have a thermo on those, but I check the temps constantly, in fact neurotically. Since I seriously doubt you do that get a thermostat. Rainbows can be quite fragile if they don't have the conditions they require, although if set up correctly with tons of humidity and not too much heat they're durable and fantastic captives.
