Re: Any tips for getting females back on feeding after laying eggs?
I had a stubborn girl like that. I had to clean her real good and put her in a new tote with a different water bowl and hide. It wasn't new I just switched her with another female. I left her alone for a few days and offered her food again and she ate right away. Hope this helps.

After removing the eggs and washing the moms and cleaning their tubs I always wait a week then start offering rat weans. Most will take the weans right away, after a couple of weeks on weans they all go back to eating small rats like nothing ever happened.

I cleaned her out good last night. I tried a weaned rat before I cleaned just in case she would take it. No dice. I completly changed everything, I even put her into a different spot in the rack incase something got on the top of the cage that I didn't get. Hopefully next feed will be the one..
