You can leave crickets in the enclosure for up to 24 hours. After that any uneaten crickets should be removed as they will stress the gecko and if they get hungry they will actually chew on your gecko.

the little guy has a nice appetite, even though his cage is a little big for him he hasn't had any trouble finding his CGD.

the crickets are a pain in the butt even though I love watching him hunt them.

Anyone have any tips in feeding these bugs cause wen i got to the petstore to pick them up, they always give more than I ask for cause its hard to get exact #'s and I hate trying to separate them and I hate trying to get them out in the morning cause it requires me to move everything in his cage cause theres a good amount of vines and leaves.

Would it be okay to feed in a separate smaller container like a critter keeper? Do they feed nicely on pre-killed crickets??

Feed 5-6 crickets at a time and get a small kritter keeper to keep the crickets you don't want to feed right away in with some eggcrate or empty paper towel rolls. Add a slice of apple or carrot to keep them fed and hydrated for a few days or you can get the Fluker's food and water bites from a pet store. You need to feed live as cresteds won't go for insects that don't move.
