    No, I'm not blind to snake information, only keeping them as pets. It was a serious statement made to me by a friend.

    No, knowing the temps and humidity are part of figuring out the cage; you need one now. You also need a thermostat to control the temps inside the cage as well as a UTH or flex watt to provide the temps that the snake needs at the bottom of the tank.
    Like Deb suggested, 2 similar and small hides are important for the snake's sense of security.
