    It means that people are not being specific enough.
    Chlorhexidine Diacitate is Nolvasan, and is certified against a bunch of viruses. Chlorhexidine Gluconate is the less-expensive generic stuff, and is not certified against viruses, though it may be effective.

    Interesting information on the Chlorhexidine Diacitate. Is that stuff non-toxic? And I assume it works against bacteria, too; is that right? What about funguses?

    Yes, I put the Accurite in the freezer. I wondered about it - but I figure if it can go down to zero, it should still work; and it does. And it was my way getting to the parts that the vinegar didn't reach.

    I'll look for the Chlorhexidine Diacitate soon.

    So who's up for the quarantine article? Connie? Or maybe we can start a thread called "Quarantine tips here."

    I would be happy to compile information into a nice neat easy to read format, if such a thread got enough info in it. However I do not consider myself to be enough of an expert to actually write it up from scratch. I agree it would be a very useful sticky to have.
