Well the flowers in my backyard weren't nearly as orange when in bloom. My mom has rainbow sorbet roses. Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

It's a Hybrid Tea...the thing is, there are so many cultivars out there...that many roses may have multiple cultivar names. Your best bet is to go to a nursery, or contact a local hort. club, bring a picture of what you are looking for and you should get some help. You may get 3 different names for one type of cultivar, so its best to have the pic. Good Luck! :salute:

If you really want to identify the name of that variety of rose, it will take some work on your part. And you will never know for sure.

First of all, where did you get it? They might be able to help you identify it.

If not, study the plant and the blooms and take lots of pics. Meanwhile, find some sort of rose club. Then present your information and ask them for help identifying it, and pray. Since you say "or something similar", they can certainly help you with that, and may even be able to recommend varieties that don't have some of the drawbacks this one might or might not have.

Here is a link that gives information on what to look for:

If you don't care about the name so much as just want to be able to get a plant of the same variety, it is may be easier to start one from a cutting. It requires some sort of rooting hormone and other stuff I know nothing about, and probably violates some sort of copyright or patent, but it can be done.

    Good luck!

Ah, well that changes things. I would think if you take that picture to some good florists, they will be able to order something similar.
