Holy crap you're a braver man than me lol! I saw a few people get bit by those down in GA while I was in the Army. It kills the flesh all around the bite and you usually have to have surgery to remove the infection. I wouldn't whip out any pesticides but dang man I would tear my room apart to find that thing and get it out of there :taz::taz::taz::taz:.

Back on subject though, I would not use any of those pesticides anywhere near my snake especially since it says to be cautious around reptiles.

I work for an exterminating company (so does fiance) we use Bifen (As we call it) on a regular basis OUTDOORS.. how come you dont get a Termidor treatment, it covers you for insides but its applied outdoors. MUCH safer then actually spraying the inside of your house, lasts much longer and we have NOT had any issues with it yet. We have been offering the product for quite sometime. Just a thought..

if you cant get away with using Termidor, you can suggest them use Tempo, which is another type of spray that is applied to only your baseboards and cupboards. As a precaution I would absolutely move your snakes/pets/exc to another room. Better safe them sorry.

For ultimate protection Termidor can also be used with Phantom.. together thats the best treatment you can get, protects you inside and out if you absolutely must have inside service i would stick with either tempo, phantom or (mental block) ill have to get back to you with the third name.. those are some of the things we offer and things i know work well..

just a thought, i hope that helps some. As not only the daughter of the exterminator but as well as someone who works for a pest control company (and have since i was 15) I would not & do not get my interior sprayed for pests... believe it or not we don't even have an issue. ((knocks on wood)) when we have we used baits instead of spray.. its more controlled that way and you know exactly where the bait is.. i dont believe that works on spiders though.

IF YOU HAVE AN INFESTATION OF BROWN RECLUSE SPIDERS I WOULD NOT PLAY AROUND!!! YOU MUST GET THAT TAKEN CARE OF!!! those are very dangerous !!!

EDIT: if you are spraying bifenthrin and you have access to that chemical/product then you should also have access to the products i listed, are you getting your supplys from Lesco or some other company such as that?

with that said, i would especially not treat your own home.. it should be fairly reasonable cost to have a professional come in. i wouldnt take the added risk of doing it yourself.
