Nah, I don't think that makes someone 'not ready'.. Well, depending on the person, any way. I brought home a total of two dogs, five snakes, and a bearded dragon while living at home, and going to school. The only ones that stayed with mom were one of the dogs-too agressive for me to take, and the beardie- she wouldent let me take him! Also, I also cared and paid for my animals 100%, too.

His choice, not mine...
I'll pass the word along, but that is why we are waiting.
He'd rather have a lot of time to dedicate to the new addition to the family then to stress over it when he is studying to pass his boards, and I understand and respect that.
There is a good reason for it, but I appreciate your candor.

She just turned two. She has a Hyper Thyroid issue, and has never grown out of that puppy stage. She still looks just like a puppy! But she is slowly starting to thicken up.

I agree with him though Heather. Its gotta be hard enough to deal with that crap, let alone take care of a maniac puppy :D

Re: OK....Ding Ding
lol, sounds fun! I have a three year old pit mix thats very chill- and has been her entire life, and now I have this little 13 week old husky that likes to attack her and wake everyone up at 4am and bounce off of walls- but she's not as bad as most so I'm not complaining!
