Heather, my sympathy goes out to you. I feel your pain, as we got our first slugs of the year yesterday as well. My first ever clutch of eggs from a Het Pied female = 2 slugs and 1 egg. As others have said, keep your chin up, and know that the bad luck is always made up for with really good elsewhere.
