Cool looking snakes! That's a new morph right? Congrats!

I think I have to agree with Connie's pick of a favorite... beautiful color on that one's tail! It doesn't need to be a cool new morph to be just gorgeous!

I'd like to hear the story behind this. Want to share, or got a link where I can read about it?

In early 2007 I purchased a trio of '03 50% Suriname boas het albino...they were produced by Todd Smith and Bryan Wayne from breeding a pure Suriname import x Columbian Kahl albino...

The male bred both females, and the smaller one took and gave birth in September 2007...there was one live perfectly striped baby, and two stillborn siblings just like him...

I named them Roswell boas...this is the 2007 male...

I bred the same male to the larger female in the trio last fall...hoping she might have the same gene as her sister...and she sure did...:D

I now know it's a definite genetic mutation, what remains to be seen is if it is codominant, recessive, or?

God. I am sooo envious! Those snakes are breathtakin, even the "non-roswells" are phenomenal. You are in Long Beach too!!! Not far at all.
