2nd. We go out to a (what we thought) nice mexican restaurant. We eat, my son got a cheese quesadilla (SP?). He got the ROTA virus and almost died. Long story short, someone didn't wash their hands before handling our food. My 13 month old son got so sick and dehydrated and was in the hospital for 3 days on IV's. He was so dehydrated they alsmost had to drill the IV into bone.
There were other reports of people getting sick after eating there too.

Wow, that is terrifying. I am glad that everything worked out OK. I remember being terrified as a kid when my Mom got salmonella food poisoning and was in the bathroom; I thought she was dying!
I always refuse to eat at places now, where workers are not easily visible and are wearing gloves. Like this nasty fried chicken place in Ohio that we almost ate at! Dude had an Open Wound Bleeding on his head and No gloves! Who knows where he was itching!
