I just give him chicken eggs. I have given him quail eggs in the past (a friend breeds quail so i get them for free.) and i soft boil the quail eggs, becuase i swear i heard somewhere that quail eggs have different bacteria than chicken??? IDK LOL
Did you feed a fertile egg or a infertile egg? I forgot the reason to not feed infertile eggs but im pretty sure fertile eggs are best.Cool anway!

Way cool bro! :gj: I have long wanted a black-throat....but I Just dont have the space that I want to give it! :(
How do you like him? I first met a blackthroat at a show a few years ago and he was DOG TAME...and ever since I have thought how great would it be to have an animal like that, almost like the family dog! Is he tame?
Just very rad man! :cool::gj::gj::gj::gj::salute:

I feed both, I dont really buy eggs at the store, they are all given to me, so some are some aren't.

Yes, I have seen some very very tame Black Throats, I wish Mine was like that. He is quite a butthead sometimes.
I read or heard somewhere (totally blanking where) That a TRULY HEALTHY monitor will always maintain that aggression, and most "dog tame" monitors you see, are lethargic for a reason. Im sure thats not the case all the time, but worth noting.
