Best of luck! On your search for a thermostat - this is rather inexspensive and works well, as well as it is prewired (it comes with the plug for the wall and the power bar)

So I got bored this morning and decided to put a screen in my tub lid. I just want to let you know - you WILL need glue in that glue gun if you try what I suggested. The plastic does melt and adhear to the screen, but it is not very much - so I used some hot glue to help it along. I also put the screen and glue on the outside of lid, not the underside, and foil taped around it and over the glue once it dried. Hope that helps a bit.
