    I recommend breeding you own mealworms cause it is extremely simple. I am in the process of setting up a new tub for the colony so that I can use a UTH to help speed up the process. You really do not have to do anything to them just drop them in and let them do their thing. I have already gone through the beetle stage so now I am just waiting for the baby mealworms to grow up large enough so I can use them as feeders. That is why I want to heat them some because it is taking slightly longer for them to grow than I had planned. This way I can save lots of money on feeders.
