Great pictures. I wonder if you can find out what that's a fossil of - that would be neat. Maybe there's a prof at a local university that could tell you? I don't know I'm just always curious about that kind of stuff!

Hey maybe that clear blobby stuff in the oil is petroleum jelly? You know, Vaseline :D

The clear stuff was water running on top of the oil. It collected in giant pools then would tumble down the side. Very Interesting, to find out what it is, its definitely a vertebrate. almost looks like a fish.

I think the fossil was the coolest as well. No snakes all day, so the fossil was worth it!

also noticed under the fossil there is a leaf imprint its very faint thats awesome man i wish i could see stuff like that
