if im not mistaken the caramel had a slight kink and was sold to a hobbyist rather than me a breeder i inquired about it but as i want to limit the kinking to a minimum( i have 1.3 caramels flawless) i thought it better not to purchase it as did the salesman but it didnt last for me to come around again

Ah. Didn't know since I never held that Caramel. But I did learn that he and his wife have their own business breeding and selling snakes, and that often times he will bring the 'less attractive' or surplus ones to the store to sell for a lower price. So that may explain it as well. :)

And, I know what you mean about looking more at the reptiles. I nearly missed two people I knew well because of the snakes I was staring at. :)
If you plan on attending the August show, maybe we can set up something for then!

My husband and I were there as well... there were so many animals there we liked but we made a promise not to buy anything more than feeder roaches for our beardies this time around. We were there around noon. Don't know what any of you guys look like otherwise I would've said hi! :) Although we were in a bit of a hurry to see all the animals before I had to go to work this afternoon...its no fun being in a hurry..there were so many I would've liked to hold and learn more about. Oh well, maybe in August. :) This was the 3rd consecutive Rocky Mtn Reptile Expo we've been to and was wondering if there were any other reptile get-togethers in the Denver area, if so I wanna know about em! :)

I will be going to the show in august if any of you want to plan a get-together. I wouldn't be opposed to meeting before or after the show as well for a hang-out, as it seems like I rarely get to hang out with people who are genuinely interested in reptiles!

Sounds great to me! Since school doesn't start until the 11th, and I'm still not sure if I'll have a job this summer to interfere (sigh), a nice get-together would be cool. :) We'll have to do some thinking.
