    andrew thanks! i shoot herps, but i mainly shoot weddings and events. So i make myself have the "best of the best" so to speak. i still see people blow away my photos w/ kit lenses though.

    I like y our avatar, i love gaboon vipers and have a ton of gaboon viper photos....

    Thanks! I wish I could go with a few of the L lenses, but they don't suite my needs. I mainly do field shooting with reptiles, and zoological shots. Even studio shooting is still fairly new to me. I wish I could go with the 5D, but dang...the controls are so far out of the way for my hands lol (small hands); so I'm stuck with the rebel series, or Mark series cameras (nuffin wrong with either :P)

    I'm going to be getting a hold of some hot keepers here to see what all they're willing to do towards photography. I need a better album :P

    Please. I would love to improve my picture taking ability.

    I have only the telescoping lens to date ( along with the regular lens that came with the cam).

    I would love to see a lens review. Especially since I had my rebel fall off a shelf, breaking the battery pack cover (doesn't stay closed) and my standard 28-80mm lens. The glass seems to be fine on the lens, but the mounting flanges where it mounts into the camera are broken. :crying: I will be calling a repair company, but with where the lens mount is broken, it may not be worth fixing.
