    Losing a friend (no matter WHAT kind) is ALWAYS sooooooo hard, but with a horse, there's just something that's just a little "more" that makes it harder.

    Remember the good times.

    Aw; sorry for your loss. I definately think that the stubborn horses have the most to teach us. Not like the aggressive ones; they are merely fighting for dominance. Not like the subservient, dull ones; they are already plodding through life without being much of a challenge. But those stubborn gals (I say gals; usually the ones I have known were mares, though my friend's donkey gelding is similar.) They are the real horses that train us.
    Can't wait to see pics of the new arrival..

    Thanks everyone. Horses seem to be such a part of us once we know them. And as far as the new boy is concerned, he has settled in as if he has always lived here. He looks so at home!!:)
