Craig's List is great if you are discerning and willing to work at it, but finding that diamond in the rough takes some effort. I've seen some really nice snakes (and other things) on there, but usually the prices are just insane.

That ad makes me sad and even worse, that guy probably has no idea he is abusing his snake.
I like Craigslist. We have found some awesome deals on there reguarding reptiles and supplies. We recently purchased 2 800g normal male BP will all supplies for $100! As mentioned before, there are a lot of people on there looking to make a quick buck. Those people aim to sell to people who don't know much about what they are purchasing, and really just want to get rid of it. My favorite part is when people, particularly with reptiles and fish tanks, explain all the 100s of dollars they have invested but are willing to "let it go" for just 1-200 dollars (which is over priced). Most of the time when you add up all the products at top-of-the-line prices it will sometimes equal close to the number they say. You know that most people are cheap and do not buy the most expensive supplies for their pets; well animals they temporarly feed until they get bored.
Anyway, overall I enjoy it, you just need to be knowledgeable about what things are actually worth!

That is terrible. Absolutely terrible. I hope that guy sells/gives it to someone who knows what they are doing, and never sees a reptile again.
