Re: Ralphs Kinked Caramel.
I've seen a few pics of kinked caramels but wow, those are some kinks.
Kudos to Ralph for even posting that video and another for taking care of the little guys. :gj:
Re: Ralphs Kinked Caramel.
I'm glad he talked about the possible tail crop in carmel albinos. I've known about the kinking, but I wouldn't have thought to be really examine the tail so closely in case some unscrupulous breeder took off the very tip.
Re: Ralphs Kinked Caramel.
Question, if they tend to kink then why breed them?
Why take the chance of having a snake that has some retardation?
If you and a spouse have had 3 children with disabilities are you going to try for a 4th?
Doesn't seem fair or right IMO.
Re: Ralphs Kinked Caramel.
Probably because there are more non-kinked caramels than there are kinked ones.

Very cool vid...I'm with Ralph; if the snake appears healthy and will have good quality of life, why put it down? He's a snake freak at heart. =)
Re: Ralphs Kinked Caramel.
Wow, that is somehting else.
I have never heard of any problems like that.
What did he mean about the spiders? Do spiders have a problem with that to?
