on the other hand, we dont have butlers in west michigan, but most of our easterns are black & yellow... go figure.

From your picture, it looks like it also has a red tongue with a black fork. Is that the case? I saw 3 eastern garters in the yard/crawl space this afternoon. I'll post pictures later tonight!

Yep! They have Red tongues with purple/black forks :D
