    Wow! Just beautiful!! What is the flower in picture #5? It is beautiful!! We're building a greenhouse onto the front of our castle in Eastern Oregon. It will be down (in elevation) from the southerly front of the house and will also act as a heat sink for the radiant flooring, etc. We hope to put fruit trees and beautiful flowers and herbs in it....snakes too, maybe...

    That is a phalenopsis or moth orchid. The white ones are the most common, that one is a spotted variety. They come in 100's of variations and colors.

    They are fairly easy to grow and are considered a low light orchid. A sunny window with some shading can work. The best thing is the blooms last a long time, sometimes months.

    April here are some of my vandas hanging in the greenhouse

    And here is a bloom of one of my favs "Princess Mikasa" it is a cross of a vanda and an ascocentrum called ascocenda. They dont get as big as vandas and bloom at younger size/age.

    Here are some examples of Cymbidiums, they need to be outside to cool(30's-40's) in the winter or they wont bloom.

    Here is a red one arranged with some white phalenopis.

    Yep.. that's what I've got. I can't wait for it to bloom.

    One of my phaelenopsis is about to pop as well.
