    Also, a little off topic, but what i do i feed him when he gets bigger? right now its just regular feeder mice, but i assume he will need something bigger when he gets thicker.

    You'll find that most people here feed their adult balls the equivalent of a small/small rat once a week. This is a rat that is about 4-5 weeks old and weighs between 45-60 grams or so. Ball pythons, being rather sedentary snakes, don't need a lot of food to stay healthy and grow.

    If it's easier for you to get mice, two large adult mice equal the same food weight.
