Re: Another "what to get next"
If you already have a pastel,i would get another one to make super pastels.
It's a cheap entry in breeding with great results.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking but I really wanted the OP to do some work and make some sort of breeding plan for the future.....
Re: Another "what to get next"
For myself, I just got the "ingredients" for the morphs I wanted to keep but can't afford. I want an ivory, super cinnamon, pewter and a Sterling. Therefore I'm getting a pair of Cinnys, a pair of Yellowbellys and a female pastel. It will require lots of patience (especially the sterling) but in the end I will have my favorite morphs and the satisfaction of breeding them myself.
That's about all I have for a breeding plan at this point and it's a couple of years from even starting.

Those are the silly ideas you have and then change fourteen times before the female ever gets big enough to breed.
Would highly recommend the larger normal females too, its kinda nice to know what your getting into with breeding before you have to do it with several thousand dollars worth of snakes. Its alot of work but its very rewarding watching your first lock and then ovulation and waiting for eggs (thats all i have done or i would add the rest of the process in there too). But there are lots of learning hoops and bumps and hoops you go thru that first year and i am glad i have a learning year under my belt before next year.
Re: Another "what to get next"
alright, so which is more in demand right now, or the one that there is the least of pastaves or bees. Thats something to break the tie
so what your saying is it might be wiser to buy a baby female morph because that is one morph your going to have in the future you can always make crosses into other morphs

Is it just me or...?
Breeding season is over and it will take a whole other year.
So I presume that doesn't matter.
In europe last year pastel and spider were hot due to the price. This year it will be hard to sell a pastel at a nice price. Also there will be a lot new morphs available in the same price range this year.
So looking at the ball market to buy a morph is stupid I think.
Buy or save money for a morph you want to have, then you'll never feel bad after...
my 2c
Re: Another "what to get next"
I really want a Pied, So I am kind actually seting up to breed my first pied next year. But I also have picked up 6 larger normal females to breed to my pastel. I'll sell some of the males and normals and keep the female Pastels to create supers and other combos.
I also hame some Hets that I am working with as well as two femals that are off on a breedign contract that should produce a Mojo and lesser for me.
Alos picking up a spider het OG that I can breed with my Het OG = Honneybees.
and I have a set of Het pieds. :)
Re: Another "what to get next"
so just buy whatever morphs to be able to make what "I" actually want to make in the future instead of having to buy them
after hearing sean from exotics by nature talk about all this pewter stuff he is doing really makes me want to go for a pewter instead of a bumblebee, idk right now i am not really leaning towards hets though
Re: Another "what to get next"
get a spider!!! bumble bee!!!! hahahaha!! you have to have 1 bee atleast.lol
