    Hmm.. interesting. Do you need to do any sort of cooling, or change in photoperiod to induce breeding?

    I've experimented with cooling and photo periods and even separating males and females and none of it seems to make any difference.

    The males start going for the girls in late feb to mid march and babies come june thru aug. no matter which method I use.

    Now I just leave them together to do what they want.

    You could go back and review the Reptile Radio show where Jason's Jungle was on. He talked about basic kenyan sand boa breeding and care.

    I keep mine on shredded aspen bedding. Some of them I keep in tubs and some I keep in 24x12x12 barrs cages. The only thing I have noticed is that mine actually require high humidity to shed properly. I mist 2x daily when they go opaque and they always shed perfectly.

    I got all of my sand boas from Jason Hess (of Jason's Jungle) he's a really good guy to work with.

    I also notice that mine don't shed in one piece without a good amount of humidity.
