    There are BABY GECKOS in those eggs! :D The shapes are the babies--the closer they get to hatching the more those shapes fill up the egg, making it hard to see much when you candle them.

    I usually can't really see veins in crested eggs. Sometimes I can but that's a few weeks after they are laid. Wait a week and then candle them again and see if they look more pinkish with a pink cheerio shape inside (that's the embryo). Usually when they are first laid they look more yellowish, but after a few days to a week they turn pink and you can see the cheerio.

    Yaaaayyy! And btw, these babies are Emily's babies. We agreed that she'd get to keep any of the babies that might come from Carmen. I'm just going to enjoy getting to see them hatch and start growing before giving them back to Emily! :love: I had no interest in breeding cresties or raising babies (I'm crestie impaired, afterall! LOL)

    You just think you have no interest in babies. You haven't seen those little heads poking out of the eggs yet. :D :P
