on Fauna.

they have red tails for 70 dollars and 50 for shipping that is half of what she is asking. Now mind you would have to get a cage and the set up, but you can get a 41q tub for 10 and heat tape for under 30 and a Johnson for 70. I am not sure what the cage needs for a RTB are.
Just to show you she is not the only person who has them. Good luck what ever you do.

My advice is WAIT! Get your car first for several reasons if you get a job you will need it. When you get a job it will make affording a snake much easier. Second a snake is not as important because you can ALWAYS get a snake, jobs are not as easy to get. I don't know much about RTB's but I would feel around here and fauna. There are a lot of people there that are willing to give young herper's a chance if you impress them with your willingness to learn.
I am not trying to patrinize but one thing you have to learn as an adult is patience. There are a LOT of things I really WANT, but I have to wait. I really really really WANT an albino ball python (I dream of them all the time) but I have to wait.

Good choice man! CL's is a awful place for pets. The first and only time I got anything from CL's was a Boxer I adopted that was hungry, scared and tied to a tree in the backyard without any kind of shelter what so ever. The woman's response was "I just don't have time". Idiots are what they are, dog, cat, snake, whatever at least if you are going to be irresponble give it at least the basic nessicities of life.
Moral of the story, I shelled out $150 for a vet visit and meds. (Wish I could save any animal, but unfournately I can't.)
Breeders or adopting as previously stated are the best route to ensure you get the best possible pet. Good luck, I hope you find your keeper RTB!
