Yeah, that sounds good. I will have a limit as to how much I will spend though, certainly. I pretty much know how much what I want is worth and I know how much I am willing to spend, so I am ok for now. Until I see a beauty that I just GOTTA have! lol gotta tell myself NO!:colbert::)

We have vended at the Raleigh show for several years now. But where the venue is doesn't have as much to do with pricing as what time of the year. Most people at that show will probably not have many babies left.....08 haven't hatched yet etc. When Alex posts the vender list it would be a good idea to contact some of them to see what they will have available....and look into the vendors before you get there......as with any show there are going to be some sketchy people there selling animals. Usually by 3:00 on Sunday vendors are going to be willing to make some deals.

It depends a lot on which show you're talking about, the time of year, etc. Also, which day of the show is important, as a lot of great deals happen towards the end.

I prefer the shows simply because I can see the animals in person, hold them, and compare the offering of each vendor in person. That said, you need to do your homework first, so you know the acceptable price range for the animal you're looking for.

Also, since you're talking about animals based on the spider genetics, I would really recommend finding one at a show so you don't end up saddled with damaged goods because the pictures online didn't display a constant spin, etc.

Yay! More people who will be coming to the show in Raleigh. I second the notion that there probably won't be too many baby ball pythons there just because of the time of the year and because I don't remember seeing a huge variety of them at the show last May in Raleigh. If you know what you are looking for, however, I am sure there should at least be one or two, though emailing the breeders who are going to be there couldn't hurt. As for me, I will be there, probably both days.
