Re: Reptile sprays anyone
I would say the average air temp is 80deg but on the basking points (ie floor where he lives) is 90+ deg and in the very coldest part on the floor is 75+ deg for shade and night time.
He shows no sign of stress and eats like a horse..
I have 2 air temps on each side and 1 floor temp with humid digital. They all match what mos of the books I have read say to have. Plus as a added bonus I have the "laser" temp guage to measure the basking and other pinpoint spots to be sure they all stay within parameters..
I live in a very cold place here in Wa with wind-rain-snow most of the year.. So Temps are hard to keep up but so far I feel things are going good.
Re: Reptile sprays anyone
Anything under 78-80 is too cold and is a risk for a respiratory infection. Get your temperatures up to the proper levels, there SHOULD NOT be a night time drop.

Your temps are too low and too widely varying. They need to be stable and not fluctuate. 92-94 warm side, 82-84 cool side, 50-60% humidity. If you don't have a digital thermometer/hygrometer and aren't measuring at the floor level(where your snake lives!) then you NEED to get one.
QFT. I just purchased another T-Stat from Spyder Robotics. Dion has probably some of the best customer service of any place I've ever ordered from.
