those are very kewl indeed. nifty idea. maybe make the water dish area a bit bigger so that you can use a deli cup so that it would be easier to clean the water? and you wouldn't have to worry about the glaze as much.

I'd planned on making the "water dish" a bit bigger, but we were trying to stay within the constraints of one box of clay for two hides. Maybe I can make something that fits into that.... hmmm...

And I'm glad I'm giving people ideas! If anyone needs a step-by-step, we were planning on making one big one for Levi, so I can take pictures. :) Just ask!

Oooh.... It's been forever since I've worked with Sculpey... It hadn't occurred to me it may be safe for reptile hides. Hmmm.....

I got mine at Hobby Lobby, and it was $10 for almost 2 pounds. You could try a local craft store, or www.sculpey.com :)

    Good job on your hides!!:gj:

That does look neat!! Unfortunately according to their website, the only place close to me that sells it is a craft store in a couple of local malls (and I hate buying stuff from the mall since it is usually so much more expensive than anywhere else:().

I was looking at some of their other products on their website and the eraser clay sounds interesting. I just might have to pick up some of that and make some cute stuff with my kids. They would have a blast with it!! (Plus I wanna see if it really turns into erasers!! LOL)

That clay comes in like340958349085349085 colors. Ive used it to make plugs for my ears. This is a brilliant idea though.
