I just checked on her and she only has one? She's had that one for about 2 hrs. I also found a dead one in the opposite corner...

Is this normal...or is she not done? Or maybe she ate all the other ones?

    unlikely

    rats don't eat there young

The only time they do is if they are already dead or possibly dying. The more nervous rodents such as hamsters tend to be the ones that will eat their young if they are nervous & stressed out about their surroundings.

Rat mothers are very capable of eating their young for no stress related reason and it is well documented. Is it as common as mice or hamsters? No, but I have had some new mothers eat their whole litter.

If she is done giving birth to a large litter and ate part of a few, I wouldnt worry about it. It may have been dead, or defected, or she ate it because of the nutrition. The only thing you can really do is put her in a quiet area, and not bother her while she settles down and takes care of her babies.

I dont like to bother my first time mothers, I like to get an idea of how they handle interaction when they have a litter before I really take a close look at what they have.

Yea I don't get it. I checked on her today and couldn't find the live baby....She still looks pregnant. She's in my basement so she's definitely in a quiet area.

Has anyone had a rat have a few babies than the next day have the rest??

That doesn't sound good.. There is likely a baby stuck in the birth canal if it's been that long. If you don't get her some help, then the babies will die inside of her, she'll become septic and then die herself. It is a very painful death and not something I would ever want to wish on any of my animals.

What she is doing is not normal..
